Martin brings 28 years in financial advisory, with a highly successful background in projects, government, property, banking, financing, transportation and infrastructure. Through his career he has advised on over 30 highly varied and significant schemes including European toll road transactions, university accommodation, a Canadian wind farm, two European tram networks, freight schemes in Russia, a Cypriot airport, oil storage facilities, many new train fleets including Thameslink and IEP trains, civils infrastructure and car parks.
Following a 1st class honours degree in Mathematics, Martin’s corporate background includes Lombard, MDT and HSH Nordbank becoming a highly experienced analyst, modeller and financial expert. His advisory/arranging mandate experience is extensive covering most debt/equity structures, leasing, and PPPs.
More recently, Martin has worked for the public sector providing strategic and financial advice for key business cases both for the Highways England and the High-Speed Rail Group. He is currently the Financial Case Lead for the East Coast Main Line South digital re-signalling for Network Rail.
